The Henkel Art.Award jury under the direction of the internationally-renowned designer and professor Ernst W. Beranek convened in Vienna at the beginning of September. The members of the jury were confronted with the difficult task of selecting the best works of art out of 43 submissions from 14 Central and Eastern European countries. The jury agreed to select a total of five artists, who have been nominated as the finalists to be granted the Henkel Art.Award 2004. The award winner has already been chosen. However, the name of the prize winner will first be announced at the Henkel Art.Award ceremony.
