Henkel Art.Award. 2008 for Contemporary Drawing
For the seventh consecutive year, Henkel Central Eastern Europe (Henkel CEE) is bestowing its coveted Henkel Art.Award, endowed with a monetary prize of 7,000 euros, this time in the category “artistic drawing”. The Henkel Art.Award. 2008 will be awarded to the Slovenian artist Miha Strukelj. Within the context of a Henkel Art.Award. presentation to be held on November 17, 2008 in the art gallery Galerie ArtPoint, the Sponsorship Prize for Promising Young Austrian Artists will be granted to Andreas Heller, and the Sponsorship Prize for Promising Young CEE Artists will be bestowed upon the Ukrainian artist Ivan Bazak. Each of these two monetary prizes is worth 2,000 euros.
