In 1998, Henkel’s subsidiary in Sofia began building up the company’s standard business activities. A distribution structure for detergents, cosmetics and adhesives products has been operating since 2003. As of August 2007, Henkel has also been manufacturing in Bulgaria in a building adhesives factory near the capital of Sofia. Major brands are Ceresit, Clin, Fa, Gliss, Loctite, Moment, Palette, Persil, Perwoll, Pur, Rex, Schauma, Silan, Somat, Taft and Thomsit.
